User Guide -- Purchasing a Fixed-Price Listing
Once the "Buy Now" button is clicked; a purchase transaction
has been initiated. An email will be sent to the buyer as confirmation
that the purchase request has been sent to the seller. An email will also
be sent to the seller confirming that the buyer has initiated the purchase
process. Both the buyer and seller will receive email contact information.
At this point, it is the responsibility of both buyer and seller to contact
each other and complete the purchase transaction by making payment and
shipping arrangements. At this time we do not have a credit card option
available but it is being considered as a future enhancement.
Bidding on Auction Listings
Once you have opened a listing that you are interested in bidding on:
- Enter the amount you are bidding in the area provided, noting the
minimum bid.
- Click "Make A Bid"
Bidding automatically stops at the end of the auction and the current
high bidder at the auction's close wins the auction. Please note that
you will receive e-mail during the bidding process only when you are a)
outbid on an item, or b) you are the winning bidder. The "Bid History"
button shows the entire bid history of that item.
