User Guide -- Searching
Searching for listings
You are allowed several types of searches. You can search for a listing
throughout the entire P2PBAZAAR community, you can search for a listing
available only through a specific user, or you can search for all of the
items listed for sale by one specific user. Experiment with the software
to get more familiar with it, we are always improving the product and
adding features. Here is a sample search scenareo:
In the P2PBAZAAR GUI under the "Search" tab:
- Enter a few descriptive words about the listing you are searching
for in the "Search For" box. Keep in mind that the P2PBAZAAR
software searches by the title of the listing so "BMW" will
show you all BMW's for sale, whereas "2001 BMW M3 silver"
will return only listings that meet that search criteria.
- Choose the category in which your listing will be searched in the
"In Category" drop-down list.
- If you want to search a specific user click the "Search Specific
User" tab and type the user name in the area provided. If you want
to see all listings for a specific user click "search Specific
User" box and "Show All Listings" box. Type name of the
user you wish to search.
- Double click on the results you are interested in to view in more
detail.
